What is Priority Registration Day?
You have worked hard and this is your day of perks. Priority registration allows you to sign up for the classes you need, at the times you want – before they’re gone. You control your schedule, but don’t wait, because preferred class times go quickly.
You’re one step closer to being a student at Newman University! All newly admitted students coming to our traditional campus are required to attend a Registration Day to register for classes for the upcoming fall semester. During the event, you will select your courses, get your photo taken for your student ID, learn more about campus resources, meet other new students and speak one-on-one with a financial aid staff member.
What to Bring
- Government-issued photo ID (i.e. driver’s license, passport, etc.)
- Required immunization records
- Updated transcripts, dual-credit or other documents for advising
- Current health insurance card
Housing Information
Resident Housing is filling fast. If you are planning on living on campus, don’t forget to fill out the housing application.
Priority Reg Day Schedule
- 8:45-9:00 = Math-Placement Check-in
- 9:00-9:45 = Math Placement Test
- 9:30-10:00 = Registration Day Check-In
- 10:00-10:30 = Welcome Session
- 10:30-11:00 = Pre-Advising Session
- 11:00-11:30 = FERPA Session
- 11:30-12:15 = Lunch
- 12:15-3:00 = Academic Advising Sessions
- 12:15-3:00 = Jet Expo
Parking
Free parking will be available in Lot A and B. Check in will be in the Dugan Library and Campus Center (Building B on the campus map).
